Expand region은 의미있는 단위로 선택한 영역을 증가시킵니다. 원하는 것을 선 택할 때 까지 'c-='를 계속 누르십시오. "의미있는"의 개념은 언어에 민감합니다.

예: 편집

(setq alphabet-start "abc def")

커서를 `c`에 놓으면, `abc` 단어 전체 마킹으로 함수를 실행하고, `abc def` 따 옴표의 내용으로, 그리고 `"abc def"` 전체 따옴표로, 그리고 sexp `setq alphabet-start "abc def"`의 내용 및 마지막에는 전체 sexp로 확장됩니다.
