이 패키지는 디코딩없이 지정된 시작과 종료 시간 위치에서 오디오 파일을 분할하기 위한 명령행 인터페이스를 제공합니다. 앨범을 분할하는 경우 분할 지점과 파일 이름을 수동으로 선택하거나 CDDB 또는 cue 파일에서 읽을 수 있습니다. Mp3Wrap 또는 AlbumWrap의 무음 및 데이타 분할도 지원합니다. mp3 파일을 위해, ID3v1 & ID3V2 태그 모두를 지원합니다. GTK 인터페이스는 mp3split-gtk 패키지에서 제공됩니다.
