GNU Xnee è una suite di programmi che possono registrare, riprodurre e distribuire azioni utente nell'ambiente X11. Si pensi ad essa come ad un robot in grado di imitare ciò che fate.

Xnee può essere utilizzato per:

 - effettuare dimostrazioni di programmi;
 - distribuire azioni;
 - registrare ed eseguire 'macro';
 - ri-dattilografare un file.
