Alsaequal è un plugin per equalizzatore per ALSA con regolazione in tempo reale. Può essere regolato usando un mixer compatibile con ALSA, come alsamixergui o alsamixer.
Alsaequal usa il plugin LADSPA Eq CAPS per l'elaborazione dell'audio; in verità alsaequal è un'interfaccia generica per plugin LADSPA con accesso in tempo reale ai controlli LADSPA (il plugin LADSPA incluso con alsa non permette controlli in tempo reale), ma è stato sviluppato per il plugin LADSPA Eq CAPS e testato solo con esso.
