lettore di newsgroup grafico con thread

Knews è un lettore di newsgroup basato su X11 orientato ai thread. È in grado di rappresentare i thread come un albero grafico, visualizzare le citazioni in diversi colori e molto altro.

È incluso anche knewsd, un demone NNTP piccolissimo che può leggere i messaggi dei newsgroup da una directory di spool o persino da una gerarchia di cartelle di posta e che può essere usato quando non si ha a disposizione un vero server. Non c'è alcuna garanzia che funzioni con altri client che non siano knews, perciò non viene pacchettizzato separatamente.
