Questa libreria contiene un modulo in puro Python (sicuro rispetto ai thread), per accedere a memcached attraverso il suo binario e con gestione di autorizzazioni SASL.

Lo scopo principale di questo modulo è di permettere di comunicare con memcached utilizzando il protocollo binario e gestire l'autenticazione, in questo modo si può lavorare, ad esempio, con Heroku.
