Python-json-patch è un modulo Python (una libreria) per applicare JSON Patch secondo la bozza della specifica IETF.

Dal sito di IETF:

JavaScript Object Notation (JSON) [RFC4627] è un formato comune per lo scambio e l'archiviazione di dati strutturati. HTTP PATCH [RFC5789] estende l'Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) [RFC2616] con un metodo per eseguire modifiche parziali alle risorse.

JSON Patch è un formato (identificato dal tipo "application/json-patch") per indicare una sequenza di operazioni da applicare ad un documento JSON di destinazione, idoneo all'utilizzo con il metodo HTTP PATCH.

Questo formato è anche potenzialmente utile in altri casi in cui è necessario eseguire aggiornamenti parziali ad un documento JSON.

Questo pacchetto fornisce il modulo per Python 3.x.
