pngtools è una suite di utilità per lavorare con file PNG (Portable Network Graphics), equivalenti ai comandi tiffinfo e tiffcp di libtiff. I comandi si chiamano pnginfo e pngcp. tiffdump è anch'esso rimpiazzato da pngchunks e pngchunkdesc.
