Questo è un sostituto per la sola de-archiviazione del programma per archivi arc di SEA. Può gestire archivi pkarc ed altri ancora. Può anche essere usato con emacs: vedere la pagina man di nomarch.

Questo pacchetto è molto utile per script di scansione antivirus della posta elettronica, per spacchettare allegati.
