Netfilter Userspace Logging Daemon

Ulogd er en avanceret netfilter-logningsdæmon. Den kan fungere som en erstatning for syslog til logning af regelsætovertrædelser for netfilter (via NFLOG- eller ULOG-iptables mål), kan indsamle per forbindelse registreringer via NFCT eller indsamle per regel registreringer via NFACCT. Uddata kan sendes til logfiler i tekstformat, en række SQL-databaseformater, XML-filer, pcap-filer, syslog og mange andre formater.

Understøttelse for DBI-databaseabstraktionslaget, MySQL, PostgreSQL og SQLite 3-databaser er i separate pakker kaldt ulogd2-dbi, ulogd2-mysql, ulogd2-pgsgl og ulogd2-sqlite3 respektivt. Understøttelse for skrivning til JSON-filer er i pakken ulogd2-json. Understøttelse for skrivning til pcap-filer er i pakken ulogd2-pcap.
