SLICOT (Subroutine Library In COntrol Theory) er et alment grundlæggende matematisk bibliotek til at kontrollere teoretiske beregninger. Biblioteket tilbyder værktøjer til at udføre grundlæggende systemanalyse og synteseopgaver. Hovedvægten i SLICOT er på numerisk troværdighed for implementerede algoritmer og de numeriske robusthed og effektivitet for rutiner. Tilbyder algoritmisk fleksibilitet og brugen af strenge implementerings- og dokumentationsstandarder og andre SLICOT-funktioner.

SLICOT er skrevet i Fortran 77 og bygger på de numeriske lineære algebra-rutiner fra BLAS (Basic Linear Algebra Subroutines) og LAPACK (Linear Algebra PACKage).
