Python-gphoto2 er en omfattende Pythongrænseflade (eller binding) til libgphoto2. Den er bygget med SWIG til automatisk at oprette grænsefladekoden. Dette giver direkte adgang til næsten alle libgphoto2-funktioner, men nogle gange på en ret upythonisk måde.
