S.M.A.R.T를 사용하는 저장장치를 위한 관리/감시 도구

smartmontools 패키지는 최근의 ATA와 SCSI 하드디스크에 내장되어 있는 자기 감시 분석 및 보고 기술(S.M.A.R.T.)을이용하는 저장장치의 관리/감시를 위하여 두가지의 유용한 도구(smartctl과 smartd)를 제공한다. 이 패키지는 smartsuite패키지에서 이어진 패키지 이며 ATA/ATAPI-5 디스크를 위한 지원이 포함되어 있다. 이것은 최근의 리눅스 시스템에서 잘 작동한다.
