GLib library of C routines - transitional package
GLib is a library containing many useful C routines for things such as trees, hashes, lists, and strings. It is a useful general-purpose C library used by projects such as GTK+, GIMP, and GNOME.
This transitional package helps to upgrade systems that did not break ABI during the 64-bit time_t transition. It can be removed when there are no longer any packages that depend on it.
