perf-event is a Rust interface to Linux performance monitoring.

It consists of the Rust crates perf-event2 and perf-event-open-sys2, which provide access to performance monitoring hardware and software on linux.

perf-event-data provides types and traits for parsing records emitted by perf_event_open into usable rust structs.
