tripwire는 시스템 관리자와 사용자가 정해진 파일에서 바뀐 사항을 감시하는 데 이용하는 도구입니다. 시스템 파일에 대해 정기적으로 (예를 들어, 매일) 실행하면 손상된 파일이나 무단 변경된 파일을 찾아서 시스템 관리자에게 알려줍니다. 즉 얼마나 손상되었는지 시간 단위로 측정할 수 있습니다.
