gestione OpenSSL per LWP

Questo modulo Perl fornisce il supporto per il protocollo HTTPS sotto LWP, cosicché LWP::UserAgent possa effettuare richieste GET, HEAD e POST su HTTPS. Si consulti la documentazione di LWP (perldoc LWP) per maggiori informazioni sulle richieste POST.

Il pacchetto Crypt::SSLeay contiene Net::SSL, che è automaticamente caricato da LWP::Protocol::https sulle richieste HTTPS, e fornisce il collegamento SSL necessario per far funzionare quel modulo tramite questi moduli deprecati: Crypt::SSLeay::CTX, Crypt::SSLeay::Conn e Crypt::SSLeay::X509.

Il lavoro su Crypt::SSLeay è stato proseguito solo per fornire il supporto HTTPS per le librerie perl LWP: libwww. Se si desidera accedere all'API OpenSSL tramite Perl, si dia un'occhiata a Net::SSLeay di Sampo (disponibile in Debian nel pacchetto libnet-ssleay-perl).
