GNU Portable Threads

Pth è una libreria POSIX/ANSI-C estremamente portabile per le piattaforme UNIX che fornisce la gestione non-preemptive e con priorità dell'esecuzione di più thread ("multithreading") all'interno di applicazioni server. Tutti i thread sono eseguiti all'interno dello stesso spazio degli indirizzi dell'applicazione server, ma ciascun thread ha un proprio program-counter, un proprio stack di esecuzione, una propria maschera dei segnali e una propria variabile errno.
