strumento per configurare dispositivi wireless in Linux

Questo pacchetto contiene lo strumento a riga di comando "iw" che permette di configurare e mostrare informazioni sui dispositivi wireless.

iw è basato sull'interfaccia nl80211 del kernel e gestisce la maggior parte dell'hardware piuttosto recente. Il vecchio strumento iwconfig, che usa l'interfaccia Wireless Extensions, è deprecato ed è fortemente raccomandato passare all'uso di iw e nl80211.
