bot per distribuzione di file in IRC

iroffer è un server di file per IRC (comunemente chiamato bot DCC). Usa la funzionalità DCC di IRC per inviare file ad altri utenti. iroffer si connette ad un server IRC e permette alle persone di richiedergli file. A differenza di altri programmi simili, iroffer non è uno script; è un eseguibile autonomo scritto interamente in C, partendo da zero, tenendo a mente un'alta velocità di trasferimento e l'efficienza. È stato osservato che iroffer ha raggiunto o superato un uso di banda di 2MByte/sec quando sono in corso più trasferimenti contemporaneamente.
