GTML è un pre-processore HTML con alcune caratteristiche aggiuntive pensate specificatamente per la gestione di pagine web multiple. I file HTML generati da GTML sono esattamente come ogni altro file HTML. Dato che GTML non cerca in nessun modo di interpretare i comandi HTML, è pienamente compatibile con ogni versione di HTML e non richiede particolari browser o server.
