Hypothesis è una libreria per testare del codice Python con una gamma di esempi molto più vasta di quanto si vorrebbe mai scrivere manualmente. È basata sulla libreria Quickcheck di Haskell ed è progettata per integrarsi senza problemi nel flusso di lavoro esistente dei test di unità in Python.

Hypothesis è sia estremamente comoda sia fa avanzare in qualche modo lo stato dell'arte dei test di unità. È facile da usare, stabile ed estremamente potente. Se non si sta usando Hypothesis per testare il proprio progetto, allora si sta perdendo qualcosa.
