m2crypto ha le seguenti caratteristiche:

 * estensioni HTTPS a httplib, urllib e xmlrpclib di Python;

 * S/MIME;
 * ZServerSSL: un server HTTPS per Zope;
 * ZSmime: un messenger S/MIME per Zope.
