SendIP ha un gran numero di opzioni a riga di comando per specificare il contenuto di ogni header di un pacchetto RIP, TCP, UDP, ICMP o puro IPv4 e IPv6. Permette anche di aggiungere qualunque dato al pacchetto. Le somme di controllo vengono calcolate automaticamente, ma se si desidera è possibile anche spedire somme di controllo sbagliate.
