ESE Key Daemon è un demone per la tastiera multimediale per Linux. Con i kernel della serie 2.6 può anche gestire telecomandi, che vengono presentati come tastiere. Non è necessaria una patch del kernel. È un programma in spazio utente che unisce le interfacce /dev/input/event? per gli eventi di pressione dei tasti sulla tastiera in entrata.
