getty per sola console

Mingetty è un sostituto di getty per Linux, piccolo, efficiente e per sola console.

"getty apre una porta tty, richiede un nome utente e lancia il comando /bin/login. Normalmente è lanciato da init(8)."

mingetty è un getty minimale, da usare sulle console virtuali. Diversamente dal getty dei pacchetti util-linux o mgetty, mingetty non è adatto per le linee seriali, per questo è più piccolo.
