Attributed File System (AtFS)

AtFS è un sistema di memorizzazione che gestisce versioni multiple dei file e ad ogni versione associa un numero arbitrario di attributi nella forma "nome=valore" definiti dalle applicazioni. AtFS viene fornito come libreria di funzioni che è pensata come estensione al file system UNIX. Fa ciò senza necessità di modifiche al kernel e senza imporre alcuna restrizione alle applicazioni esistenti nel file system. Fa parte di ShapeTools, un sistema di gestione della configurazione del software.
