Når brugere arbejder i flersproglige miljøer (f.eks. russisk+engelsk), så indtaster de undertiden tekst med et forkert tastatur. I autotilstand kan XNeur automatisk detektere sproget på ord som brugeren indtaster, skifte tastaturlayout og konvertere ord fra et tastaturlayout til et andet. I manuel tilstand har brugeren mulighed for at konvertere de sidst indtastede ord eller valgt tekst med genvejstaster. Hovedideen med redskabet er lig med Punto Switcher for MS Windows. I øjeblikket understøtter XNeur engelsk, russisk, ukrainsk, hviderussisk, fransk, rumænsk, tysk, kazakhstansk og mange andre sprog.
