Virtuel konsollåseprogram

Vlock låser enten den aktuelle terminal (som kan være alle slags terminaler, lokal eller ekstern) eller låser hele det virtuelle konsolsystem; med fuldstændig deaktivering af al konsoladgang. Vlock fjerner disse låse igen, når der angives enten en adgangskode fra brugeren som startede vlock eller når administratoradgangskoden indtastes.

Vlock er interessant på miljøer med flere brugere. Vlock kan tillade brugere at låse deres sessioner mens andre brugere stadig kan bruge det samme system via andre virtuelle terminaler.

Vlock er meget nyttig for brugernes sikkerhed.
