Forbedret ftp-klient

Tnftp er hvad mange brugere kærligt kalder den forbedrede ftp-klient i NetBSD (http://www.netbsd.org).

Denne pakke er en »port« for NetBAD-ftp-klienten til andre systemer.

Forbedringerne i forhold til den normale ftp-klient i 4.4BSD inkluderer:

 * kommandolinjeredigering i ftp
 * kommandolinjehentning af adresser, inklusiv understøttelse for:
     - http-proxyer (c.f: $http_proxy, $ftp_proxy)
     - godkendelse
 * kontekssensitiv kommando- og filnavnsfuldførelse
 * dynamisk statusbjælke
 * IPv6-understøttelse (fra WIDE-projektet)
 * bevarelse af ændringstidspunkt
 * paging af lokale og eksterne filer, og af mappevisninger
   (c.f: »lpage«, »page«, »pdir«)
 * passiv tilstandsunderstøttelse, med tilbagefald til aktiv tilstand
 * »set option« overskirver ftp-miljøvariabler
 * ftp-proxyunderstøttelse for TIS Firewall Toolkit gate (c.f: »gate«)
 * throttling for overførselshastighed (c.f: »-T«, »rate«)
