Pakken srecord er en samling af funktionsrige værktøjer til at manipulere EPROM-indlæsningsfiler. Den læser og skriver mange EPROM- filformater og kan udføre mange forskellige manipulationer.

Værktøjerne inkluderer:

 * Programmet srec_cat kan bruges til at catenate (samle) EPROM-
   indlæsningsfiler, eller dele af EPROM-indlæsningsfiler. Da
   programmet forstår alle ind- og uddataformater. Kan også bruges
   til at konvertere filer fra et format til et andet. Det forstår
   også filtre.
 * Programmet srec_cmp kan bruges til at sammenligne EPROM-
   indlæsningsfiler, eller dele af EPROM-indlæsningsfiler, for lighed.
 * Programmet srec_info kan bruges til at vise et informationsoverblik
   om EPROM-indlæsningsfiler.
