Simpelt postsorteringsprogram

Sortmail er et simpelt postsorteringsprogram, du kan bruge i din .forward til automatisk at sortere din post i mapper, slette uønsket post etc.

Sortmail behandler indgående post, klassificerer den og behandler den derefter. Sortmail kan håndtere indgående post mens det ankommer eller hente fra en POP-server. Sortmail er nemmere at konfigurere end procmail og kan erstatte fetchmail. Sortmail bruger konfigurationsfiler, der svarer til rn KILLfiles.

 - Efterbehandl en eksisterende postmappe
 - Vælg beskeder baseret på specifikke teksthovedlinjer, baseret på hele

 - Gem beskeder i mapper, send til indboks, videresend til andre
   e-postadresser, tilføjet til sammendrag, send igennem skalkommandoer
   eller bare placer dem som affald
 - Matchning med regulære udtryk eller IP-adresseinterval
 - Fuld boolesk udtryk for enhver kompleksitet
 - Grundlæggende funktionalitet til behandling af postlister
