Apache2-modul for ikke-ascii filnavnsinteroperabilitet

Dette modul forbedrer ikke-ascii filnavnsoperabilitet for Apache (og mod_dav).

Det ser ud til at mange WebDAV-klienter sender filnavnet i den lokale platforms kodning. Men da mod_dav forventer alt, selv at HTTP-forespørgselslinje, er i UTF-8, kan dette medføre et interoperabilitetsproblem.

I den oprindelige forfatters opfattelse, så er dette en fremtidig sag for specifikationen (RFC?) at få standardiseret kodning brugt i HTTP request-line og HTTP-teksthoved, men livet vil være meget nemmere hvis mod_dav (og andre) kan håndtere diverse kodninger sendt af klienter I DAG. Dette modul gør netop dette.
