konverter DVI-filer til PNG-grafik

dvipng laver PNG-grafik fra DVI-filer som indhentet fra TeX og dette programs afledninger. Programmet skal bruges til at lave udjævnede billeder for skærmopløsning så hurtigt som muligt. Dette gør dvipng egnet til løbende oprettelse af store mængder af billeder.

dvipng læser ikke postambelet, så det kan startes før TeX er færdig. Programmet kan læse indstillinger interaktivt via standardind, og alle indstillinger kan bruges. Du kan endda ændre inddatafilen via denne grænseflade.

dvipng understøtter skrifttyperne PK, VF, PostScript Type 1 og TrueType, specielle farver og simple specielle PostScript-inkluderinger.
