Skrivebordssøgemotor - klient

Doodle søger på din harddisk efter filer med brug af en mønstersøgning på metadata. Det udtrækker specifikke metadata for filformater med brug af libextractor og bygger et suffikstræ til at indeksere filerne med. Indekset kan så gennemsøges hurtigt. Programmet ligner locate, men kan bruge information såsom ID3-mærker. Det er muligt at udføre en fuldtekstindeksering med brug af de passende udvidelsesmoduler for libextractor.

Denne pakke indeholder den manuelle Doodle-klient.
