Redskab til at forbinde serielt forbundne perifere enheder til inddataundersystemet

Inputattach forbinder forældede serielt forbundne perifere enheder til inddataundersystemet: tastatur, mus, joystick, trykfølsom skærm ...

Blandt andet giver dette mulighed for at en forældet mus kan tilgås via multiplexeren /dev/input/mice.

Understøttede enheder inkluderer:

 * Serielt forbundne tastaturer inklusive Apple Newton-tastatur, DEC LK201
   / LK401-tastaturer, Stowaway-tastaturet, Sun type 4- og 5-tastaturer,
   standard PS/2-tastaturer med en seriel adapter.
 * Seriel mus med Genius-, Logitech-, Microsoft- eller Mouse Systems-
   protokoller
 * Serielt forbundet trykfølsomme skærme inklusive dem fremstillet af 3M,
   ELO, Fujitsu, Penmount, Touchright, Touchwindow.
 * Serielt forbundet joystick inklusive I-Force, SpaceBall, SpaceOrb,
   Gravis Stinger, WingMan Warrior
 * Handykey Twiddler brugt som et joystick eller et akkordtastatur.
