Brug af ctrl-n og ctrl-p vil flytte feltmarkeringen fremad og tilbage, et tryk på returtasten vil starte kommandoen yank og skrive det valgte felt til dets standardind. Kommandoen yank er som standard xsel, men kan være alt som accepterer inddata på standardind.
