StrongSwan - charonbibliotek

StrongSwan VPN-programpakken bruger den medfølgende IPsec-stak i standardkernen for Linux. Den understøtter både IKEv1- og IKEv2- protokollerne.

Denne pakke indeholder biblioteket charon, brugt af IKE-klienter såsom strongswan-charon, strongswan-charon-cmd eller strongswan-nm samt udvidelsesmodulerne:

 - socket-default
 - counters
 - bypass-lan (deaktiveret som standard)

På Linux er den binære fil xfrmi også indeholdt, og den kan bruges på Linux 4.19+ til at oprette XFRM-instanser (for yderligere information, se https://wiki.strongswan.org/projects/strongswan/wiki/RouteBasedVPN)
