Mednafen er en kommandolinjedrevet emulator for mange forskellige systemer. Den har fuld understøttelse af OpenGL- og SDL-grafik, netværksspil, konfiguration af input der kan genoversættes, understøttelse af joystick og tastatur, spil kan gemmes og spoles tilbage, GSF-afspilning og skærmbilleder.
