GNU Bourne Again SHell

Bash 是一个与 sh 兼容的命令语言解释器，用来执行从标准输入或文件读取的 命令。Bash 还从 Korn 和 C shell (即 ksh 和 csh) 采纳了一些有用的特性。

Bash 的最终目标是要成为符合 IEEE POSIX Shell 及工具规范 (IEEE 1003.2 工作组) 的实现。

Ian Macdonald 提供的可编程自动补全代码现在位于 bash-completion 软件包。
