高级电源管理（APM）工具包

在笔记本电脑中，高级电源管理（APM）提供了诸如获得电池状态信息，动态节能等功 能，这依赖于你的笔记本电脑的高级电源管理（APM）功能的具体实现方式。当APM事 件发生时，apmd程序能够让你自定义运行任何程序（例如可以在挂起到内存时弹出 PCMCIA设备，或者当连接电池时改变你的硬盘的超时设定）。

此包包含apmd(8)，一个用于记录和执行APM事件的守护程序；还有apm(1)，一个客户 端程序，用于将/proc/apm中的信息以可读的的格式输出。

apmd是通过内核中的APM驱动来获知APM事件的。

Debian内核已经内建了APM驱动支持，但是默认是关闭此功能的。要使用此驱动，你需 要在引导内核时添加"apm=on"选项。（你需要手动添加到你的lilo命令行中）

大部分情况下，用户可能需要知道现在有新的电源管理配置方案，例如说ACPI。
