Tento balík obsahuje všetky potrebné súbory pre podporu nemčiny v kontrole pravopisu GNU Aspell.

Obsahuje slovníky: de-alt (deutsch-alt/german-old) a de_CH-alt, ktoré všetky používajú starý nemecký pravopis z roku 1901 (alte Rechtschreibung).

Nový pravopis (1996) poskytuje aspell-de.
