KDE IRC client

KDE is a powerful Open Source graphical desktop environment for Unix workstations. It combines ease of use, contemporary functionality, and outstanding graphical design with the technological superiority of the Unix operating system.

KSirc is the default KDE IRC client. It supports scripting with Perl and has a lot of compatibility with mIRC for general use.

If you want to connect to an IRC server via SSL, you will need to install the recommended package libio-socket-ssl-perl.
