O Anthy é um método de input Japonês que funciona no X11 e no Emacs. Converte o texto hiragana para uma mistura de kana e kanji. É implementado através de uma biblioteca e guarda a informação privada com segurança em ~/.anthy/. Portanto o Anthy é simples e seguro (a informação é protegida de spoofing e snooping).
