O cfv é um utilitário para testar e criar uma grande variedade de ficheiros de verificação de soma de controlo. Presentemente suporta teste e criação de ficheiros sfv, sfvmd5, csv, csv2, csv4, md5, bsdmd5, torrent e crc. Suporte para par e par2 está disponível apenas para teste.
