Filtro de spam baseado em Perl que usa análise de texto.

O SpamAssassin é um filtro de spam muito poderoso e totalmente configurável com numerosas capacidades, incluindo listas brancas automatizadas, testes RBL, análise Bayesiana e análise de cabeçalho e corpo da mensagem. É desenhado para ser chamado a partir do ficheiro .procmail ou .forward do utilizador, mas pode também ser integrado num Mail Transport Agent (MTA).

Incluído neste pacote está uma forma daemonizada do spamassassin (spamd) que comunica com o seu cliente (spamc) via TCP, para reduzir o carregamento do perl para cada mensagem. Para tirar partido disto, tem que instalar o pacote spamc.
