O utilitário arping envia requisições ARP e/ou ICMP para a máquina especificada e mostra as respostas. A máquina pode ser especificada pelo seu nome, seu endereço IP ou seu endereço MAC.

Este programa só pode ser executado como root. Torne-o setuid se você gostar.
