Wysuwa tackę na CD i operuje zmianą nośnika CD pod Linuksem

Ten mały program pozwala wysuwać tackę CD-ROM-u (zakładając, że CD-ROM obsługuje funkcję CDROMEJECT ioctl). Pozwala również na ustawienia funkcji autowysuwania.

W obsługiwanych wielopokładowych CD-ROM-ach ATAPI/IDE, pozwala na zmianę aktywnego nośnika.

Można użyć eject, aby bezpiecznie usunąć zewnętrzne urządzenie magazynujące, takie jak cyfrowy aparat czy przenośny odtwarzacz.
