X 터미널 에뮬레이터

xterm은 X 윈도우 시스템용 터미널 에뮬레이터입니다. 이 패키지에는 직접 윈도우 시스템을 사용할 수 없는 DEC VT102 및 Tektronix 4014에 호환하는 터미널이 들어 있습니다. 이 버전은 ISO/ANSI 컬러 및 DEC VT220 터미널에서 사용하는 대부분의 컨트롤 시퀀스를 지원합니다.

이 패키지는 네 가지 명령이 들어 있습니다: 전통적인 터미널 에뮬레이터 xterm, 로캘 설정(특히 UTF-8 문자 인코딩을 사용하는 경우)에 대해 지능적으로 대처하는 (하지만 이 명령은 x11-utils 패키지의 luit 명령이 필요) uxterm, KOI8-R 문자셋을 사용하는 로캘용 uxterm과 유사한 래퍼인 koi8rxterm, 사용자의 로캘 설정에 기초해서 실행하기 전에 앞의 세 명령 중 하나를 실행하는 단순한 래퍼인 lxterm이 있습니다.

X 터미널 에뮬레이터가 지원하는 컨트롤 시퀀스 목록 전체가 /usr/share/doc/xterm 디렉토리 안에 들어 있습니다.

xterm 프로그램은 xbitmaps 패키지에 들어 있는 비트맵 이미지를 사용합니다.

koi8rxterm을 사용하려는 분은 xfonts-cyrillic 패키지도 설치해야 할 것입니다.
