foomatic 프린터 필터 시스템을 설정하는 그놈 인터페이스

foomatic은 데비안 및 기타 운영체제에서 일반적인 프린터의 설정을 쉽게 하는 인쇄 시스템입니다. foomatic은 프린터에 보내는 파일을 처리하는 방법에 대한 정보를 제공함으로서 CUPS 혹은 lpr같은 인쇄 스풀러와 프린터 사이의 접착제 역할을 합니다.

이 패키지에는 foomatic을 사용하는 프린터 설정을 간단히 할 수 있는 그놈 기반 그래픽 사용자 인터페이스가 들어 있습니다.

원격 프린터 관리까지 하려면 netcat, pconf-detect, nmap, smbclient도 권장합니다.
